About the role
Due to the increase in demand, NC Power Systems is searching for an ideal Marine technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing CAT equipment across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Removing, Repairing, Assembling and Installing CAT equipment
- Coordinating with Parts department to order the necessary parts
- Planning and organizing to assist controlling job costs
Qualifications
A High School Diploma/GED is required, and a Degree in Diesel technology or equivalent hands on experience is necessary. Experience with CAT Engines (Marine or Generator) is preferred. This role requires the ability to stand up at a minimum of eight hours a day (including twisting, bending, squatting, sitting, stooping, kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds). Must possess basic tool set and maintain a valid driver’s license.
