Diesel Technician- Entry Level !

About the role

At RWC Group, we're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow through our Diesel Technician Apprentice Program. As a Diesel Technician Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced technicians while receiving hands-on training in preventative maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on commercial trucks and buses.

Responsibilities

  • Learn diesel diagnostics, maintenance, and repair from experienced technicians.
  • Absorb preventative maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs.
  • Perform routine services such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and tire inspections.
  • Learn to use advanced diagnostic equipment and shop tools.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Accurately document repairs and inspections.
  • Participate in manufacturer and company-sponsored training programs.
  • Follow all safety policies and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn a skilled trade.
  • Enjoys solving mechanical problems and working with their hands.
  • Works well as part of a team and takes pride in quality workmanship.
  • Is dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn from experienced technicians.
  • Has a valid driver's license.
  • Has completed or is currently enrolled in a diesel, automotive, or vocational training program (preferred but not required).
  • Previous mechanical experience is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Completion of or enrollment in a diesel, automotive, or vocational training program (preferred but not required).
