Diesel Technician - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform visual inspections
• Remove parts and attachments
• Perform warranty repairs
• Execute preventative maintenance services
• Repair lights and wiring
• Weld, cut, and perform other repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability
• Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

Qualifications

• Proficient in communication, both oral and written
• Physically capable of standing for six to eight hours per shift
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, and feel
• Able to lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times during each shift
• Able to use hand and power tools
• Able to use hoist and test equipment
• Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials

Pay

• Flat rate compensation plan offered to well-qualified, proven efficient applicants
• Monthly bonus incentive based on upsales

Schedule

• 40 hours a week position
• Eligible for overtime
