About the role
Mustang Cat is actively hiring skilled Industrial Power Technicians for both shop and field service roles. If you’re an experienced Engine Rebuild Mechanic or a motivated Senior Diesel Engine Mechanic, this opportunity puts you at the forefront of servicing diesel and natural gas power systems used across critical infrastructure throughout Texas.
Responsibilities
- Perform engine disassembly, reassembly, and precision reconditioning
- Conduct diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and technical analysis
- Remove and install industrial engines and generator sets
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct failure analysis and testing to ensure peak performance
- Work independently or as part of a team in both shop and field environments

Requirements
- Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred
- Previous mechanic or military experience working on engine systems
- In-depth knowledge of engine, hydraulic, and electronic components
- Strong technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities
