Role Overview
Diesel Technicians maintain and repair vehicles by troubleshooting light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components. They assist with roadside services and perform preventative maintenance to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Customer service orientation
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in close quarters
- Compliance with safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours and obtain necessary certifications
Physical & Work Conditions
- Ability to lift over 75 pounds
- Work in various temperatures
- Adhere to safety policies
- Capable of working rotating shifts, including day and night hours
- Obtain a medical DOT card (covered by employer)
