About the role
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business in Tulsa, OK. $5000 Sign on Bonus.
Responsibilities
- Complete troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on engine products and other customer equipment in a service shop.
- Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines, including utilizing computers/software in the process of diagnostic work.
- Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
- Completing required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Ongoing training and additional certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
- Adhere to all our relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor.
Qualifications
- Applies documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools.
- Disassembles, inspects and cleans engines and /or engine components.
- Aids in completing required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Completes training in line with skill and business requirements.
- Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Locally Valid Driving Permit (Preferred)
Experience
- Minimal level of work shop experience required
- Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
- Cdl DOT A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
- This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements.
- This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
Pay
Min Salary $48800
Max Salary $73200
Schedule
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations. This role will be 100% in person/On-site.
