About the role
Forklift Technician / Field Service Mechanic needed to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems directly at customer locations
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to keep local businesses running
- Hit the road across your assigned territory—no getting stuck in the same shop every day
- Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
- Log your service work accurately via mobile dispatch and communicate updates clearly
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, or auto mechanics looking to transition to heavy equipment
- Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate the company service truck
Benefits
- $1,500 Sign-on bonus
- $23hr to $38hr based on experience and certifications
- Take-home service truck (Company vehicle + fuel card provided)
