Diesel Mechanic/Fleet Mechanic (2nd Shift) | Up to $40/hr + Benefits

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
• Diagnose and repair ECMs, TCMs and ACMs
• Work on brake, electrical, suspension and steering systems
• Apply aftertreatment/Tier 4 emissions system knowledge
• Use digital systems to review vehicle history and complete work orders
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment
• Support and mentor team members as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong diesel diagnostic and repair experience
• Knowledge of engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical and brake systems
• CDL Class B preferred (or ability to obtain)
• ASE Medium/Heavy certifications preferred
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong safety focus
• Ability to pass physical and pre-employment and random drug screens (including marijuana)
