Diesel Mechanic
About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a Diesel Mechanic at our Otsego, MN Service Center. The primary responsibilities include day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet, which includes preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. This role also involves maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Handle major repairs as required
- Perform trailer PMs and repairs
- Use Cetaris for work orders
- Operate a Class A CDL
- Drive Class 8 commercial trucks
Requirements
- At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience
- Experience with Cummins and Detroit engines
- Class A CDL license
- Experience driving Class 8 trucks
- Experience with preventive maintenance of trailers and overhead doors
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Qualifications
- Must be able to handle major repairs
- Must have own tools
- Must have experience with AC and electrical systems

Pay
Up to $39.38 per hour
Schedule
Monday - Friday, Various Shifts Available
