Diesel Mechanic
Diesel Mechanic position at our Manchester, NH Service Center.
About the role
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet, including preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. Responsibilities may also include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding depending on location.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Handle major repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers
- Maintain AC and electrical systems
- Conduct Trailer PMs (Preventive Maintenance) and repairs
- Use Cetaris for work orders
- Work on Cummins & Detroit engines for preventive maintenance
Requirements
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Ability to handle major repairs
- Experience with AC and electrical systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must have own tools
- 2+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
- Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
Pay
$34.00 - $42.93 per hour
Schedule
Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 2nd shift (3:00 pm to 1:30 am)
