Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on any make and model
- Diagnose and repair engines and transmissions
- Use computer diagnostics (DDE, Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair air & hydraulic brake systems
- Remove and replace truck/trailer components
- Competent with cooling systems
- Knowledge of EGR and DPF systems
- Experience with all makes & models of trucks & engines preferred
- Able to perform various duties as assigned
- Able to pass a background check
Requirements
- Two years’ experience or graduated from a technical school program
- Driver's License (Required)
- CDL NOT REQUIRED, but preferred
- Certifications are a plus
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills
- Diagnostic and repair skills on engines and transmissions
- Computer diagnostics (DDE, Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit, etc.)
