About the role
GTT is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and diagnose issues.
- Complete repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Document work performed clearly.
- Maintain tools and shop cleanliness.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors
Performance expectations
- Accurate diagnostics or mechanical issues.
- Maintaining a low comeback rate.
- Consistent productivity.
- Maintaining safety compliance
Requirements
- Diesel experience required.
- Own tools preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
- Certifications a plus
Schedule
Monday through Friday, some Saturday coverage would depend on store needs
