Diesel Mechanic

About the role

The role involves servicing and repairing various types of diesel engines, including trucks, buses, and marine vessels. The mechanic must also perform preventative maintenance and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and software.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding service performed.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations during work.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. Some weekend work may be required.
