Diesel Mechanic

Pay

Starting pay: $26 to $35 per hour, with additional pay based on experience, certifications and skill level. The company pays for ASE testing; each T‑Series ASE certification earned adds a $0.25 per hour bump.

Shift

Shift: 7 am – 5 pm, Monday‑Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on diesel refuse trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep refuse trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
