Diesel Mechanic
Ecowaste Solutions is one of the fastest-growing companies in the waste management industry, a business built on providing an essential service that keeps communities clean no matter what the economy is doing. As we expand across our markets, we're looking for skilled, hands-on people who take pride in keeping equipment running right. We're standing up a brand-new site to support a newly awarded county contract, and we're looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join the team from the ground up.
About the role
In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment, complete work orders with proper coding such as reason for repair, condition, cause, and correction, and manage the warranty process from start to finish. Safety, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical, and the ideal candidate is energized by the chance to help launch a brand-new shop rather than join one that's already up and running.

- Correctly complete complex work orders with proper description of condition, cause, and correction, including properly completing a warranty return tag as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid state-issued CDL driver's license preferred.
- Experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with a specialty in Diesel.
- Experience in advanced diagnostics.
Benefits

- Multiple health plans available, including a tax-advantaged HSA option.
- Dental and vision coverage.
- Company-paid basic life insurance.
- Retirement plan with a company match up to 5%.
- Safety and retention incentives.
