Bright FSM is a family-owned business seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in medium and heavy-duty diesel engines, as well as addressing technology issues in newer trucks. Applicants must have a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair issues in medium and heavy-duty diesel engines
- Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines, brakes, transmission, and other systems
- Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary
- Prepare work orders and order parts
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
