About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing all diesel-powered vehicles and equipment in the fleet. This includes diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical problems in diesel engines and related systems
- Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on vehicles and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Document work performed and report findings to supervisors
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or related field
- Knowledge of diesel engine operation and repair
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Experience with computerized diagnostic systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
$18 - $22 per hour based on experience

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
