IN THE ROLE OF A DIESEL MECHANIC

• Primary Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair issues with electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as both gas and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance. Keep both indoor and outdoor work areas clean and organized. Maintain service trucks during service calls.
• Additional Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with customers, the Service Supervisor, and the parts department. Ensure timely ordering and receipt of parts. Complete tasks safely and accurately track parts ordered and repair hours.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Previous experience working with DC voltage controls, hydraulics, and gas and diesel engines
• The willingness to work outdoors in all seasons and cross-train in other repair areas
• Physical Requirements: Lift up to 75 lbs., Sit, stand, and walk for the majority of your shift, Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
