Diesel Mechanic Apprentice

About the role

KAG is now seeking to hire a Technician Apprentice to join our fast-paced diesel mechanics team. This position requires the safe and accurate performance of general property and vehicle maintenance and repair duties within the shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform wash water segregation duties
• Comply with company safety, environmental, and operational procedures
• Manage chemical usage and waste
• Couple tanks and drive tractors
• Lift, pull, push and carry hoses
• Conduct measurements and complete paperwork
• Prepare trailers for deliveries

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Ability to clear and enter confined spaces
• Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift over 50 lbs
