Diesel Mechanic - 12pm Start, Sign-On Bonus $5000

About the role

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork, document parts usage, and account for repair times.
• Assist senior Mechanics in project work.
• Review and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Age over 18 years old.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Pay and Schedule

• Starting salary of $29-$35.00 per hour.

• Shift starts at 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
