About the role

The Diesel Fleet Systems Technician (Level II) is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems on transportation vehicles. This position requires a strong background in automotive repair and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Communicate effectively with other technicians and supervisors

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in diesel engine repair
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of diesel engine operation and repair
• Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

$34 - $37 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed
