Diesel Fleet Diagnostics Specialist

About the role

The Diesel Fleet Diagnostics Specialist is responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with diesel-powered vehicles within the transportation fleet.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel-powered vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on fleet vehicles
• Work closely with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient vehicle maintenance
• Document all work performed and communicate findings to relevant parties

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and repair
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a formal training program in automotive technology preferred

Skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
