Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust dies on stamping presses and other machinery according to drawing, process documents, and specifications.
- Perform machine setup to prepare equipment for production runs.
- Inspect dies and machinery to ensure proper alignment and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to die setting and machine operation.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize workflow.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5 + years experience die setting
- Strong knowledge of machine setup procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
