About the role

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Production Worker. This position is responsible for assisting the die shop in various tasks including locating dies, recording information, and managing hazardous waste.

Responsibilities

• Place safety first
• Assist die shop in locating dies, recording necessary information on logs, and entering data into the AS400 ERP system
• Die breakdown, caustic, sandblasting, nitride, and die build process
• Load and unload nitride
• Potential of managing hazardous waste

Requirements

• The ability to work any shift
• Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift to 60 lbs. on a repetitive basis
• Crane and Mobile Equipment Certification required (or the ability to attain this certification through Hydro training as per the Mobile Equipment Policy)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience desirable
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with AS400 system a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with fluency in English; Good verbal communications skills a plus

Pay

• $22.60/HR

Schedule

• Starting Rate of pay: $22.60/HR
• Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differential
• Shifts Available and Hours: 12-hour continental shifts nights available
