Position Responsibilities
- Setup and operate all equipment and tooling, including manual and CNC safely.
- Design, construct, diagnose, repair, and maintain dies, fixtures, Amada tooling, and other machined parts to make quality components.
- Analyze print specifications, set up and operate machine tools to manufacture parts to specifications.
- Use measuring tools, calculate Spring Life, Shut Height, Cutting and Forming Clearance, Progression, and Die Timing.
- Complete Die Changeovers and verify Set-up to Part Print for Verification.
Skills
- Safely operate machines in the Die Shop and other equipment as necessary.
- Safely operate all powered forklift.
- Read blueprints and use measuring tools to verify dimensions.
- Communicate respectfully and tactfully with others.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives.

Physical Requirements
- Full range of body motion - bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or otherwise maneuvering of the entire body and the dexterous use of both hands.
- Heavy material handling and/or lifting will be required as described in the Physical Demands Analysis of the position.
- Must be present at work when scheduled.
Working Conditions
- Plant floor environment, standing.
Education Requirements
- Minimum: Machine Shop Technology Certificate or 2 years minimum work experience in machine shop and/or tool and die shop.
