Die Cutter Operator-Nights

About the Role

We're looking for Die Cutter Operators to join our team at Millennium Print Group (MPG), a subsidiary of The Pokémon Company International, in Morrisville, NC. In this role, you will adjust, maintain, and safely operate a Bobst/Die Cutting Machine, ensuring all products meet customer specifications and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand Job Ticket details and specifications to prepare the machine and supplies for each job.
• Set up the Bobst / Die Cutting Machine to specified speeds and production rates, obtaining Supervisor approval.
• Operate the machine to produce the indicated product, ensuring correctness of operation.
• Test samples for correct paper properties and characteristics before production.
• Compare production output to samples to evaluate accuracy throughout production.
• Inspect output skids for cutting, scoring, and die positions, ensuring proper documentation.
• Monitor the machine for safety issues and request maintenance as needed.
• Clean and maintain machinery to guarantee quality performance.
• Complete required logs, tracking forms, and documentation.
• Ensure a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
• Comply with company safety standards, procedures, and policies.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating a die cutter.
• Ability to learn product and material characteristics.
• Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Skill in adjusting powered machines using hand tools.
• Ability to conduct accurate measurements using proper tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work productively in a high-pressure environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
