Die Casting Operator (FLM)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cold chamber die casting machines producing precision aluminum parts
• Makes necessary machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and surface quality
• Performs in-process quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Aids in die changes and routine machine maintenance
• Identifies and reports process or quality issues to the shift supervisor or quality team
• Adheres strictly to safety and ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 quality standards

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in die casting or metal manufacturing (automotive preferred)
• Familiarity with tight-tolerance casting processes and automotive part specs
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and quality documentation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
