Magretech is a magnesium recycler based in Bellevue, Ohio that services the die casting, aluminum, sand casting, and aerospace industry. The company supplies secondary magnesium ingot while also providing tolling and chip recycling services. Our products are completely made of scrap. Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down die casting machines.
• Trim parts using a wire wheel, hand file, or other hand tools.
• Maintain the performance of the die cast machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform inspection of cast parts: visual and with quality gauges.
• Move materials with overhead crane and forklift.
• Load melt furnace and control process specifications such as furnace temperature.
• Independently perform quality inspections.
• Understand part flow within the process and identify abnormal process conditions.
• Complete AGSS process loading, tag printing, and input NG scrap parts into the AGSS system.
• Fill out Daily Production Reports, record downtime issues with descriptions and correct downtime codes, and log reject quantities and descriptions.
• Perform safety device system checks, equipment safety checks, and follow LOTO procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping.

Requirements

• OSHA Safety Understanding.
• Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience using hand tools such as an angle grinder.
• Forklift experience.

Welding certificate or degree preferred.

Schedule

8-hour day shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM), Monday to Friday. Position starts mid-October.
