Die Cast Set-Up Operator

About the role

Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is seeking Die Cast Set-Up Operators for all three shifts. This position offers opportunities to work with a global leader in precision die-casting, producing metal components for various industries.

Responsibilities

• Set die into machine and make necessary adjustments to machine program settings.
• Understand and follow established set up chart instructions.
• Write new set up instructions for new tools.
• Solve problems related to machine or set up parameters based on defects observed.
• Ensure the die is running properly, gather first off pieces for inspection, and observe quality of products.
• Monitor and check assigned casting/molding machine operations.
• Inspect products for excessive flash, surface finish, and other defects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to six months related experience or training preferred.
• Proven experience in die casting machine operation.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks and possess mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of materials, up to 50 lbs.

Pay

• 1st Shift: $25-30/hr., based on experience.
• 2nd Shift: $27.50-33/hr., based on experience.
• 3rd Shift: $28.75-34.50/hr., based on experience.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm.
• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm.
• 3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am.
