About the Role

We are seeking Dialysis Technicians to join our patient care team, providing Care, Compassion, and Community to people living with kidney disease. Dialysis Technicians at Puget Sound Kidney Centers (PSKC) are responsible for assessing and monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, collaborating with the patient's care team and caregivers to ensure patient safety and effective treatment. Responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting dialysis equipment and other assigned tasks.

Don’t have experience? We provide training! Our paid training program for new Dialysis Technicians and RNs equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to care for dialysis patients. Our experienced clinical education team supports each student to develop skills and competency. Success in the program requires good classroom note-taking and study habits, consistent attendance, curiosity, perseverance, and a commitment to PSKC’s core values of Care, Compassion, and Community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current CPR with BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Previous experience as a dialysis technician is preferred but not required.
  • Experienced dialysis technicians must have or be able to obtain a Washington State Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician certification (MA-HT).

Schedule

Training takes place Monday–Friday at our offices in Bremerton. Training days may start as early as 4:00 am. After training, you will be scheduled at your primary clinic location and may be required to work at a secondary clinic as needed. Applicants must be able to work any 4 days per week (Monday through Saturday) for a 10-hour shift. Morning shifts can start as early as 4:00 am, and evening shifts can end as late as 11:30 pm.

Pay

Hourly pay range for this position is $22.23 – $35.42 per hour. Candidates without state or national certification as a Dialysis Technician start at $22.23/hour and move to $22.67/hour after successfully completing training and orientation. Wage offers are determined based on previous experience in the same or similar role.
