About the role
The RN Charge Nurse oversees nursing services each shift, acting as a supervisor and providing daily staff supervision.
Responsibilities
- Improve patient outcomes through clinical and operational support
- Manage supplies and labor efficiency
- Document medication profiles and administer medications
- Assist with physician rounds and implement treatment protocols
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Respond to emergencies
- Communicate patient assessments and collaborate with physicians
- Participate in care planning
- Assist with staff orientation and evaluation
Requirements
- Current RN license
- At least 12 months of nursing experience (with 3 months in dialysis)
- CPR certification
- Proficiency in clinical applications
