Dialysis Registered Nurse - Charge

About the Role

The RN Charge Nurse oversees nursing services each shift, acting as a nursing supervisor and providing daily staff supervision. The role focuses on improving patient health outcomes by supporting clinical and operational processes, managing supplies and staff labor efficiently, and documenting medication profiles.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during rounds and transcribe and implement orders.
• Support anemia management and medication protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and communicate patient assessments to the team.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and the medical director.
• Participate in patient care planning and orient new staff.
• Act as a resource for dialysis services and update policies as needed.
• Provide direct dialysis care where permitted.
• Assist with staff hiring, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.

Requirements
