About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
  • Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
  • Address patient concerns and build rewarding relationships by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
  • Educate nursing staff on the care of hemodialysis patients, hemodialysis equipment, and hemodialysis standards of care.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
  • CRRN certification preferred (support provided to obtain it if needed).
  • 6 months of dialysis nursing experience required.
  • 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
