About the role

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is recruiting Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support our mission of providing personalized care to patients with end-stage renal disease. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care and fostering a positive, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
  • Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
  • Insert and remove patient access needles
  • Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights
  • Maintain and track inventory
  • Perform laboratory work under RN supervision
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform charge nurses of any concerns
  • Calculate patient’s weight loss to reach dry weight
  • Determine patient care priorities and organize work load accordingly

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to collaborate with care teams
  • Ability to problem solve
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required
  • CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills desired

Pay

Compensation range from $19.06-$24.85 per hour, depending on healthcare experience; experience not required.

Schedule

Full-time, three 12-hour shifts starting at 4am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts.
