Dialysis Patient Care Technician-PCT

About the role

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is recruiting Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support our mission of providing personalized care to patients with end-stage renal disease. The PCTs play a crucial role in the interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe care and high-quality outcomes for every patient.

Responsibilities

• Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
• Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
• Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
• Insert and remove patient access needles under RN supervision
• Maintain professional relationships, observe patient privacy and rights
• Maintain and track inventory
• Perform laboratory work

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to collaborate with care teams
• Ability to problem solve
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills desired

Pay & Benefits

• Pay range from $16-$24 per hour, depending on healthcare experience
• Paid 12-week training with preceptor

Schedule

Full-time, four 10-hour shifts, 4:30am-5:30pm; Sundays off; no overnight shifts
