About the role

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is recruiting Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support our mission of providing personalized care to patients with end-stage renal disease. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every patient receives the best possible care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities.
  • Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment.
  • Insert and remove patient access needles under RN supervision.
  • Maintain professional relationships, observe patient privacy and rights, and monitor patients during dialysis.
  • Document changes and inform charge nurses of any concerns.
  • Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight and determine care priorities.
  • Manage inventory and track supplies.
  • Perform laboratory work as needed.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Desire to collaborate with care teams.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
  • CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills are desired.
  • Job shadowing opportunities available.

Pay and Schedule

  • Pay range from $18-$25 per hour, depending on healthcare experience.
  • No overnight shifts.
  • Sundays off.
