Dialysis Patient Care Technician-PCT
About the role
Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is recruiting Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support our mission of providing personalized care to patients with end-stage renal disease. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every patient receives the best possible care within a supportive and mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
- Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
- Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
- Insert and remove patient access needles
- Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform charge nurses of any concerns
- Calculate patient's weight loss to reach dry weight
- Determine patient care priorities and organize work load accordingly
- Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights
- Maintain and track inventory
- Perform laboratory work under RN supervision
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to collaborate with care teams
- Ability to problem solve
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required
- CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills desired
- DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training
- Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available
Skills
While not required, previous healthcare experience, CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills are beneficial.

Pay
Pay range starts at $20.50+ per hour, depending on healthcare experience; experience not required.
Schedule
- Full-time, four 10-hour shifts
- Sundays off
- No overnight shifts
