About the role
Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is recruiting Patient Care Technicians (CCHTs) to support our mission of providing personalized care to patients with end-stage renal disease. The role involves actively participating in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities, guiding new patients through a 120-day education plan, obtaining and recording vital signs, and assisting with various tasks under the supervision of registered nurses.
Responsibilities
- Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
- Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
- Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
- Insert and remove patient access needles
- Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights
- Maintain and track inventory
- Perform laboratory work
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to collaborate with care teams
- Ability to problem solve
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required
- CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills desired
- DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training
- Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available

Pay & Schedule
- Pay range from $20.00-$25.99 per hour, depending on healthcare experience
- Schedule: Full-time, three 13.5-hour shifts starting at 4:30am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts
