About the role
The Dialysis Hospital Services Patient Care Technician (CCHT) position at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. supports the hospital staff in delivering prescribed treatments to patients with end-stage renal disease. This role is part of the Jackson Hospital Services and involves actively participating in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
- Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
- Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
- Insert and remove patient access needles
- Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights
- Maintain and track inventory
- Perform laboratory work under RN supervision
- Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform charge nurses of any concerns
- Calculate patient's weight loss to reach dry weight
- Determine patient care priorities and organize work load accordingly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified CCHT (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician)
- At least 6 months dialysis experience
- Previous healthcare experience required

Pay
Compensation range from $21-$28 per hour, depending on healthcare and dialysis experience, and must have dialysis experience.
Schedule
Full-time, four 10-hour shifts, starting at 6am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts.
