Dialysis Experienced Patient Care Technician - CCHT Required

DaVita Kidney Care is bringing its industry-leading clinical quality to patients on-site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services.

Responsibilities

• Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.
• Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting.
• Plan to be on your toes at all times. Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
• Support other local SNF dens as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CCHT Certification required.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background (Nice-to-have).

Skills

• Autonomy and Critical Thinking.
• Complexity: DSD Dialysis care is a complex but fulfilling service line.

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. DaVita offers a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.

Schedule

Your primary work schedule will be a Full-Time position: The PCT will be based at our site dialysis den at 3526 Dutchmans Ln, Louisville, KY, 40205. The individual will also need to provide coverage or our location at 326 Country Club Dr, New Albany, IN, 47150. Operations function Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Scheduled days will vary based on market needs.
