Diagnostic Imaging Technician I

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs across various radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic, and Operating Room procedures.
• Uses c-arm technology under the supervision of Radiologists, Supervisors, and Lead Technologists.
• Ensures proper operation and safety protocols are followed.
• Performs radiographic procedures, adapts to different shifts and locations, including weekends and holidays, and may participate in on-call duties.
• Maintains compliance with established practices and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program approved by CAHEA/JERCT.
• ARRT certified and licensed by the State of Vermont.
• Demonstrates responsibility and knowledge in daily radiology department operations.
