Diagnostic Imaging Tech I- Surgery/Clinic X-ray
Position Summary
Barrett Hospital & HealthCare invites applications to fill a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist I position to join our Diagnostic Imaging Services team. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist operates ionizing equipment to produce radiographs of body regions for diagnostic purposes, as ordered by a licensed medical provider. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist evaluates radiographs to acquire appropriate diagnostic information and uses independent judgment to acquire the optimum information for each examination performed. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist must possess the ability to communicate effectively with patients and an interdisciplinary health care team.
About the Role
The successful candidate must effectively follow established departmental procedures, work efficiently and demonstrate the ability to navigate emergent situations.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology
- An active Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- An active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana with the Board of Radiologic Technologists
- Compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements
- A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Requirements
- Ability to accurately and efficiently operate c-arm for surgical and pain management procedures
- Utilize digital radiography system for Clinic ordered x-ray exams
- Shift will be Tuesday-Friday 0700-1530. No call/No weekends.
