Key Responsibilities

• At the direction of the Director of Patient Care for Medical Imaging, oversee the technical staff in the designated sections of the Medical Imaging Department.
• Make recommendations to the Director of Patient Care for Medical Imaging regarding equipment modification and essential construction within the department.
• Oversee technical procedures and work flow to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Act as a role model and facilitator working in collaboration with all levels of the Medical Imaging Department's personnel, as well as the referring physicians and hospital departments.
• Manage staffing, patient and physician concerns, as well as clinical activities.
• Assume the responsibility of the Medical Imaging Department in the director's absence.
• When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by the director.
• Assistant Director maintains 24 hour accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC required.
• Preferred registered technologist with current certification by the ARRT or NMTCB and CE compliance.
• One-year previous management experience in Medical Imaging preferred. Minimum two years management experience/supervisory experience desired.

Pay
