Responsibilities

  • Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered.
  • Maintains patient condition and responds to changes as appropriate.
  • Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
  • Analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures.
  • Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately.
  • Provides direct support in meeting departmental service levels.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduates of a Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiology and mammography with CT preferred.
  • Current State of Nevada X-ray license.
  • BLS required.
