Job Description
South Florida Perinatal Medicine is looking for a motivated and organized certified diabetes educator to provide diabetic instruction and teaching to our pregnant patients. The ideal candidate would be bilingual and could travel to our different locations.
South Florida Perinatal Medicine is the largest perinatal provider in South Florida. Experience with high-risk pregnant patients is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- CDE certification
- Two years of relevant experience (Preferred)
- A caring and compassionate attitude
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to travel to our Dade (5 Locations) and Broward Office (Ft. Lauderdale)
Responsibilities
- Provide education and support to patients with diabetes, ensuring they understand their condition and management strategies.
- Analyze patient data to tailor individualized care plans and monitor progress.
- Conduct presentations and workshops to promote diabetes awareness and prevention.
- Utilize bilingual communication skills to effectively engage with diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive case management and follow-up care.
- Stay updated on the latest diabetes research and treatment options to provide the best patient care.
