DeWALT Service Technician 1st shift M-F $20/hr

About the role

As a DeWALT Service Technician on-site in San Antonio, TX, you will join the Product Services team to repair and maintain portable electric and pneumatic tools, light construction equipment, and outdoor products.

Responsibilities

• Handle simple repairs to all portable electric and pneumatic tool, light construction equipment, & outdoor products.
• Troubleshoot tool failure—fully or partially disassembling unit to examine components for wear/defects and replacing parts that are worn or defective.
• Assist with maintenance of shop equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Properly inspect tools and equipment for safe operation prior to use, returning tools in good condition to appropriate storage area after use.
• Complete work orders using repair parts and labor to include pricing and pertinent customer information.
• Manage inventory by ensuring accuracy with parts and accessories.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics and printed servicing data.
• Knowledge of electricity principles and air flow as it applies to a power source for power tools.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Goal‑driven mentality with the ability to meet and maintain daily/weekly/quarterly productivity goals without sacrificing quality.
• On‑the‑job training provided; experience preferred but not required.
