DevSecOps Engineer
What You Can Expect To Do
- Develop and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) operations in multiple cloud service environments
- Support software quality efforts associated with product deliveries
- Conduct ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps toolchain
- Implement upgrades to the software factory as needed
- Conduct automated system testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools and methods
- Recommend and implement upgrades and modifications to DevSecOps workflows and tools/products
- Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel to support on-site GSCCE installations
What the Team Requires
- Engineer Level 2: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree and no experience
- Engineer Level 3: Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
- Strong programming skills in Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, and AzureCLI
- Experience using GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, and Jenkins
- Experience using AWS cloud and GCC High
- Experience with planning or supporting planning missions over a SATCOM constellation
- Experience with Spacecraft configuration and SATCOM resource allocation
- Experience using application security concepts and vulnerability remediation techniques
- Experience working within an agile system development framework, conducting engineering tasks for a complex system
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage numerous demonstration events at the same time
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Proficiency with M.S. Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

What the Team Prefers
- Current U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (required U.S. Citizenship)
- Experience with software development, test automation, and system automation that supports the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and Security as Code (SaC)
- Expertise with a modern software factory's CI/CD processes, tools, and technologies. This includes knowledge of technologies such as GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of secure software development methodologies and implementing full-stack infrastructure with a Security First mindset
- Knowledge of security standards such as NIST 800-171, STIG Compliance, and Ansible Lockdown
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development, such as Jira and Confluence, is highly desirable
PAY TRANSPARENCY
The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $70,000 - $135,000
