About the Opportunity
The DevSecOps Engineer role is central to ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure and cloud architecture for the organization's software projects. This position focuses on infrastructure, identity management, and secure operations rather than application UI development. The role contributes to the organization by designing and maintaining secure, automated development pipelines and infrastructure that support the delivery of high-quality software, facilitating the adoption of trusted AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and security solutions
- Develop infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Helm
- Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Oversee containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement identity and access management solutions including SSO/OIDC, SAML, and SCIM provisioning
- Ensure observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Collaborate across Python and TypeScript codebases
- Apply test-driven development with automated unit and end-to-end testing
- Utilize AI coding agents to enhance development efficiency
- Contribute to crafting user-focused developer experiences
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience with focus on infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering
- Strong experience with AWS and cloud architecture
- Extensive knowledge of FedRAMP compliance
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Helm
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with identity and access management protocols and tools
- Strong skills in observability practices
- Ability to work with Python and TypeScript, with experience in FastAPI, Astro, or SvelteKit considered a plus
- Commitment to test-driven development and automated testing
- Effective use of AI coding tools
- Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Salary range: $125,000 to $160,000
