DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and assisting with ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure.
• S supporting CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
• S supporting full automation of CI/ testing.
• S supporting policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
• W working closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
• P providing guidance and applying agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of product.
• C continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Security, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 8+ years of relevant work experience
• E experience working with commercial cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• E extensive experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Container Security
• E Strong proficiency in CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar)
• E Experience with Linux administration and hardening
• E Demonstrated knowledge of DevSecOps processes and software supply chain security (SBOMs, signing, verification)
• E Proven experience designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible
• E Proven experience providing Source Control Management/Documentation, creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments
• E Experience writing, building and deploying scripts.
• E Proven experience enabling successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production
• E Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• E US Citizenship and active Top Secret security clearance

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $155,000.00 - $185,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.

Schedule

This position will be supported at a hybrid capacity in Arlington, VA.
