Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform (or equivalent).
- Create documentation on CI/CD pipelines and practices for software teams.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines that deploy both application code and cloud infrastructure.
- Integrate security practices such as automated scanning, static analysis, and security compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and improve system security posture, including vulnerability management and incident response.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure and reliable build, deployment, and operational practices.
- Enhance the company’s security posture by staying abreast of the latest threats and technologies.
- Develop technical solutions for complex problems using sound engineering principles.
- Adhere to FDA regulations and Waters quality systems.
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other STEM degree
- 5 - 7 years of proven experience in software development
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and securing cloud infrastructures
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu, Arm, Bicep, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated to plan, organize, and prioritize assigned activities
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
- Proficient in using security tools for static and dynamic analysis (e.g., SonarCloud, OWASP ZAP)
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in performance tuning of applications is preferred
- Experience with either C#, Python is mandatory while SQL and PowerShell for scripting and automation is preferred
